OUTOOR LEARNING- Sunshine and Shells

Let’s go fly a kite! We made kites using bags, string and pegs. We tested our kites to find out high they could fly with a short string and then with a long string. It was a great windy day.

A day for exploring. The sun shone on P2 as we hunted for signs of life in the outdoor garden. There was a bird in a nest on the tree we were climbing and minibeasts shading under logs. Some us preferred to take it easy in the bed we made and others sailed the seven seas in search of pirates.

A bird dropped some magical eggs on Mrs Swann’s car. P2s took care of the eggs and made nests to keep the eggs safe. When we came back to check on the eggs later, they had all been moved to one nest. It looked like Mummy bird had put all the eggs together in one nest so that when they hatched they would all be together.

A sunny day in June to meet minibeasts, make dens, mix some chocolate soup, collect pine cones, build a plank challenge, drive a race car away from a robbery and go fishing on a boat.
