HEALTHY LIVING WEEK

When we think about healthy living, we tend to focus on looking after our bodies- our physical wellbeing, through healthy eating, being active and getting enough sleep.

However, in order to be healthy overall, it's important that we look after our minds- our mental wellbeing too.

Our bodies and minds are actually very closely linked, so things that we do to improve our physical wellbeing can help our mental wellbeing as well.

In P1 we had lots of fun focusing on the following 5 areas to help keep our bodies and heads healthy:

Connect and Give: We connected with our friends by saying kind words each day and we gave our friends a special star and message on Friday

Be Active: We enjoyed a fitness video, exercising outside, circuits in P.E and showing off our best dance moves

Take Notice: We took part in some mindfulness activities

Keep Learning: Each day we learned how to say "Have a good day" in a different language. Which language are we speaking?
